Emilia-Romagna is home to many exceptional Renaissance palaces, as well as some of Italy's best cuisine. Lasagna, tortellini, Parmesan cheese, and balsamic vinegar are just a few of many examples of the region's rich culinary tradition. Visit Faenza (28 km), famous for ceramics. Brisighella, with its annual medieval festival, is even closer. Tour a local producer of Parmigiano Reggiano or prosciutto in Parma. See some of the world's most incredible mosaics in Ravenna (45 km) or explore the cities of Bologna (80 km) and Florence (85 km).

Located near the border between Emilia-Romagna and Tuscany, Vista della Valle stands on a bluff overlooking the Lutirano valley. The charming village of Tredozio, with grocery shops, bakery, coffee bars, and bus station, is just three kilometers away. 

Vista della Valle is set atop a high ridge, offering beautiful views of the valley. Originally a shepherd’s house, it was totally restored in 2005, using the finest local materials – terracotta flooring, chestnut wood from the estate and tiles from nearby Faenza. While the original charm remains, modern comforts have been added.

The house is divided into two large accommodations which can be connected through an internal staircase when they are rented together. Each unit sleeps 8; together they can accommodate up to 16 people in 8 double bedrooms and 8 bathrooms.

The swimming pool (10 x 5 m), set amid the large gardens of the estate, overlooks the valley and is shared by the two accommodations.

Vista della Valle is located on the same estate as Casa Cristiana and Villa Emilia. The three properties can be rented together to sleep up to 38 guests.

VISTA DELLA VALLE DOWN:

A large living/dining room with a fireplace, satellite TV, DVD, stereo, comfortable furniture, and ceiling fan has access to the garden. The dining room also has garden access and offers gorgeous views over the valley. It has a table that seats 8 comfortably. The brand new kitchen is equipped with dishwasher, microwave, and American style coffee maker. A hallway leads to two of the bedrooms. One is a double with ceiling fan; the other has two twin beds and a ceiling fan. Next to these bedrooms are two bathrooms, one with shower and one with tub and handheld shower. On the other side of the house is an additional bedroom with twin beds and a bathroom with tub. This bedroom has garden access but no ceiling fan. A wooden staircase (15 steps) leads to the second floor, where the fourth bedroom, with twin beds and adjacent bathroom with shower, is located. There is a washing machine in the laundry area.

VISTA DELLA VALLE UP:
Sleeps 8 in 4 double bedrooms/4 bathrooms
The entrance to this apartment is from the ground floor, where a large entrance hall/dining area has a large table for 16 and a fireplace. This dining room is perfect when both apartments are rented by the same group. In fact, at the end of this room is a door connecting the two units from the interior. Important: This kitchen is available only when the two units are rented together; otherwise, it will be closed. Guests renting both apartments together will be allowed to use only the two kitchens located on the ground floor of the villa. The third kitchen on the second floor will not be available.

There is a large laundry room with washing machine and ironing facilities on this level, as well as a modern kitchen with dishwasher, microwave and American coffee maker.

A 20-step staircase leads from the entrance to the second floor. All of the rooms of this apartment have marvelous views over the countryside. The spacious living room has a fireplace, leather sofas, satellite TV, DVD, stereo and ceiling fans. The dining room has a table that seats 8. The fully equipped kitchen is outfitted with a microwave, dishwasher, and American style coffee maker.  There are four double bedrooms, all with ceiling fans, and four bathrooms located on this floor. The master bedroom has a double bed, and the remaining three bedrooms have two twin beds. Three of the bathrooms have showers, and one has a tub with handheld shower. There is also a small terrace with a table and two chairs on this floor.
