This beautiful, spacious farm estate is set in a quiet location
just three kilometers from the center of Brisighella, a lovely Medieval town in
the heart of Emilia Romagna. Brisighella has shops, a supermarket, bakery, tourist
office, restaurants, and – like the other small villages in the area (Modigliana,
Tredozio, Casola Val Senio, etc.) – its own unique flavor. If you visit
in the beginning of July, don’t miss the Medieval Festival! Explore
Faenza (15 km), known for its colorful pottery and elegant shops. Follow winding,
panoramic roads to Florence, or catch a train from Brisighella and arrive less
than two hours later. Bologna (66 km), the city of arcades, is a great destination
for a hot or rainy day. Visit Ferrara (96 km), Urbino (121 km), San Marino (81
km), and the National Park of the Foreste Casentinesi Monte Falterona and Campigna
(33 km). Facilities for golf, horseback riding, and tennis are available in the
area. A paved, winding, hilly road brings you to the property,
a 130 hectares estate producing extra virgin olive oil, wine, and alfafa. The
owner, an architect, is the descendant of one of the area’s most important
families and lives in the center of town. The property is surrounded by a fenced
garden of cypress and mulberry trees and olive groves. One side of the estate
overlooks Brisighella, and the other overlooks the garden and the Lamone river
valley. There is a bus stop just one kilometer from the property. Podere
Brisighella has been carefully restored and tastefully furnished. Two accommodations
share the entrance to the property, as well as the covered parking area, which
accommodates four cars, and the swimming pool (12 x 6 meters). Each has a private
garden area, furnished with table and chairs for al fresco dining. Both have traditional
cotto floors and beamed ceilings and are furnished with antiques belonging to
the family. They are equipped with independent heating, high-speed ADSL Internet
access, satellite TV, and stereo/CD player. The two accommodations can be rented
separately, but because they are so close, we recommend renting the entire property
for large groups of family or friends. Padronale
(150 sq. m.): Sleeps 6 in 3 bedrooms/2 bathrooms
Originally, this part was the “Casa Padronale” – the house where
the owner lived. Its façade is painted beige, and above the main door you
can see the family emblem. Inside, an entrance hall leads to a spacious, bright
living room with a fireplace and a large dining area with a table for twelve,
so when both houses are rented together, it is possible for everyone to dine at
one table. The living room opens onto the garden. The kitchen is new and well
equipped, with a microwave and dishwasher. On the second floor are three bedrooms:
a double with queen-sized bed, and two double with twin beds. There are two bathrooms,
with showers made of Vietri tiles. View

and access to the garden. A separate dining room with a table for six has a fireplace
and opens onto the garden. A large kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, microwave,
